Grace Overby was born in Aarhus, Denmark. She studied and worked as a graphic designer until moving to the United States in 1990.

Grace works as a freelance illustrator and artist.

She first started to exhibit her paintings in 2002, in Brussels Belgium.

Showcasing her series "Unspoken Soulmates", freely inspired from Greek Mythology.

Having developed a technique that references her former training as a graphic designer; 

her work is both process driven and detail orientated. 

Putting her organizational skills to work, she has developed a unique style, that consist of a kaleidoscope of vibrant 

geometrical shapes and yet creating an outcome of softness and flexibility.
